Water damage restoration in Long Beach starts the night you call. Whether a burst pipe has soaked the floor or water is coming through the ceiling from the unit above, the water comes out first. Then every wall and floor it reached gets a moisture reading, so you know what can dry in place before anything is cut.

Long Beach is farther out than central LA, so allow longer for the drive. You get an arrival time before you hang up. We dry out Long Beach houses and apartments from Belmont Shore to Bixby Knolls.

Mold remediation in Long Beach

Mold grows where something stays wet, so our mold inspection and removal starts with a free look for the water behind it. Meters and a thermal camera show whether the wall or ceiling is holding water and how far the damp has spread. You owe nothing for that visit, whatever you decide.

If removal makes sense, the plan lists what comes out and how many days it takes, with the price. Nothing is removed until you OK it. On the first removal day the area is sealed off, and the mold comes out with the material it has grown into.

From your call to the last visit

  1. A person answers and stays on the line while you close the main valve. If you can, photograph each room before anything is moved.
  2. On night one the water comes out. A moisture meter goes on every wet wall and floor, and the air movers and dehumidifier go where they’ll dry the most.
  3. Before we leave, you know the day we expect the equipment to go. We come back every day at a time we agree with you and test the same marked spots, so each day’s numbers compare with the last.
  4. On the last visit every room reads dry. We go through the final numbers with you, and the fans come out after you’ve seen them.

Repairs once it reads dry

Drying sometimes leaves a low cut along a wall, or gaps where baseboards came off to let air in. Water damage repair puts back the drywall, trim, flooring and paint once the last room reads dry. You get the price room by room on the final drying visit, and the repair days are booked around your week after you OK it.

Before you call

What does the first visit cost?

Nothing. Visit one is free, whatever you decide. If the water’s still moving when we arrive, we explain the extraction and agree it with you on the spot.

Will insurance pay for the restoration?

Often, when the water came from something sudden like a burst supply line. In most cases we bill your insurer directly. You pay your deductible plus anything your policy excludes. Coverage is your insurer’s decision.

What if the drying turns up mold?

We show you before the plan changes. Mold that was already there, behind a baseboard or under a sink, goes on the plan with its own price, and removal waits for your OK.

Do you fix the pipe that leaked?

The leak itself is a plumber’s job and billed separately. Once it’s stopped, we dry everything it reached, on both floors if both owners agree.
